2017 was a thrilling adventure for Lakeland Mues. From achieving a Great Taste 2 Star Award for our Artman Classic Mues, through to hitting the breakfast menu at the prestigious Michelin-starred Gilpin Hotel and Lake House by Windermere. We've moved into our very own Mues HQ as we've scaled production to supply over 40 stockists and luxury hotels across the UK, and welcomed new additions to the team.
Life at Mues HQ
Last summer saw the completion of Mues HQ. It's an old converted barn situated on Woodside Farm, a lovely 18th Century sandstone farm 20 mins north of Keswick. A typical day in the office usually starts with breakfast. Here's a snap of Luke and our brand spanking new Mues kitchen. Below, my current winter serving suggestion - porridge and banana with a sprinkling our very own muesli.
Scaling up production
In Spring 2017 we enjoyed a mad month of new customers and mail orders thanks to our appearance on BBC 2's Back to the Land with Kate Humble.
Great Taste Awards
Last year we were officially judged "Outstanding" (2 Star) at the Great Taste Awards 2017. The Artman Classic was ranked as the top toasted muesli in the UK!
New recruits to the Mues Team
Meet Josh, our new toast-master. He's been smashing kilos and kilos of Mues since commencing training - a true artisan in the kitchen. Every batch is toasted by hand. Tim, Luke and Esther showing off our limited edition Winter Wonder blend.

Mues on Tour
Our expanded summer sales team hit up an extrordinary number of food shows, festivals, and trade events including the legendary Chatsworth Country Fair and BBC Good Food Show. We've loved the chance to take Mues on the road and visit some truly lovely British towns and cities.

Work hard, play hard.
We've always liked nothing better than a hearty breakfast and day out in the fells. Mues is of course now the consistant trail mix of choice.
